Chassis design

• Reinforced chassis made of two longitudinal I-section side members (the load-bearing strips are made of high-carbon low-alloy steel), connected by cross beams (for difficult road conditions).
• The frame structure is made of high-strength steel, operating in temperatures ranging from -70 С to +80 С;
• JOST/BPW support device with 24 t lifting capacity, with control on the right;
• JOST/BPW 2-inch kingpin in accordance with UNECE Regulation No. 55.00, located according to ISO 1726;
• 2 wheel chocks (shoes);
• Basket type spare wheel holder – 2 pcs.;
• Lateral aluminium underrun protection, manufactured according to UNECE Regulation No. 73.00, with STEELBEAR advertising;

Axle unit

• 3-axle BPW axle unit, drum/disc brake mechanism, reinforced off-road version. Permissible load on each axle 9000 kg;
• Reinforced BPW air suspension (350 mm diameter cushions) with the ability to lift/lower;
• Reinforced shock absorbers);
• Plastic half-wings PARLOCK/DOMAR in front of the first and behind the rear axles;
• A pair of COPAR/DOMAR ANTISPRAY mudguards with STEELBEAR logo behind the rear axle;

Wheels and tires

• Wheel assembly 7 pcs. (incl. 1 spare);
• Tires size 385/65R22.5;

Brake system

• Pneumatic brake system KNORR EBS/ABS 2S/2M;
• A pressure gauge displaying the pressure in the air suspension to obtain information about the load on the axle units (or the SMARTBOARD information system);
• ABS sensors on the second axle;
• ALUMINUM/METAL air receivers for air suspension and brakes;
• Diaphragm type brake chambers;
• Semi-automatic parking brake system with spring energy accumulators on the second and third axles;
• Two pneumatic connection heads (supply and control);
• ABS socket according to ISO7638 (without connecting cables to the tractor).

Electrical equipment

• Electrical equipment ASPOECK/HELLA/ERMAX-BPW in explosion-proof design HYBRID. Cable and connectors are reliably protected from chemical and thermal effects, with a voltage of 24 volts in the network;
• Central 8-core cable with cross-section: 6x1.5 mm and 2x2.5 mm;
• Front white light marker lights – 2 pcs. (LED);
• Side marker lights – 8 pcs. (LED);
• License plate lights – 1 pc. (LED);
• Five-chamber rear lights with reflectors – 2 pcs. (stop and side lights – LED);

Floor

• Made of laminated multilayer birch plywood 27 mm thick, corrugated surface;
• It is permitted to drive a forklift directly in the body; the total weight of the forklift is up to 7,100 kg;
• Lashing rings built into the floor for securing cargo.

Frame

• Steel removable stands, not height adjustable – 6 pcs.;
• Rear steel removable racks, not height adjustable – 2 pcs.;

Tailgate

• Tailgate made of anodised aluminium, approx. 600 mm high;
• 3 full ties on the side (from the base of the loop to the top plane of the side);
• Rear horizontal rubber bumpers – 2 pcs.;
• Rear ALUMINIUM protective device, with integrated number plate holder, manufactured according to UNECE Regulation No. 58.01, with full-width mudguard with STEELBEAR advertising;

Sides

• Side panels on the left and right, approximately 600 mm high, made of anodized aluminum, 4 pieces on each side;

Marking

• Partial reflective markings in accordance with ECE R48, side and rear yellow

Painting

• Preparation of steel surfaces by shot blasting to degree Sa 2 ½;
• Painting the chassis with a two-component ACRYLIC system used for painting products in the AUTOMOBILE industry with preliminary application of a two-component anti-corrosion zinc-containing primer that protects the frame from “sublayer” corrosion;
• Chassis colour BLACK (RAL 9005);
• Side protection without painting (aluminum);
• Rear protective device in silver color;
• The wheel rims are silver-grey.
