Impact of CORIMSOL on LPG

Anti-corrosion action

To protect the engine power system from corrosion, CORIMSOL contains special additives - corrosion inhibitors.

CORIMSOL contains another corrosion inhibitor that neutralizes aggressive fuel components.

The two inhibitors described above produce a synergistic effect (two corrosion inhibitors are significantly more effective than either alone).

Lubricating action

Spark ignition engine power systems, both in the case of gasoline and LPG (LPG), must be properly lubricated.

To protect the power system of LPG (LPG) engines from friction and wear, CORIMSOL contains a lubricant additive. The additive present in the package creates a stable lubricant layer (Fig. 2) that protects the moving parts of the engine from friction and wear; due to this, energy losses are reduced and the service life of engine elements is increased.

The effect of adding an additive is manifested in a decrease in the friction coefficient (Fig. 3), on average two times (from 0.591 to 0.257), as well as a tenfold reduction in wear (89.3%).

Detergent action

In order to ensure proper engine power and complete combustion of fuel, the intake manifold must be kept clean.

Saturated hydrocarbons, in particular those with low molecular weight, such as LPG components, do not have the ability to dissolve or wash away deposits that accumulate on batteries. The collected resin deposits form coke and soot at high temperatures (Fig. 4). Due to the fact that gasoline engines can operate alternately on LPG and gasoline, the parameters of liquefied gases should not deviate from the operating parameters of gasoline, which is always enriched with packages containing detergent additives.

To compensate for LPG's lack of detergency, CORIMSOL contains an additive that regularly flushes out tar deposits that burn in the engine along with the fuel. Thanks to this, the engine power supply system remains clean, and the fuel dosage, the creation of the air-fuel mixture and its combustion occur in an optimal way. Complete combustion means efficient use of the fuel's chemical energy and reduced emissions of toxic exhaust gases.

Physical and chemical properties of CORIMSOL

CORIMSOL is a light brown liquid, fully miscible with LPG. The product burns completely ashless.

Application rules

In order to ensure complete homogenization of CORIMSOL, the product is recommended to be applied to LPG during reloading.
