Features of the technique

Logging and skidding machines have been used since the 1940s. The other end, with the loop, is thrown over a bundle of logs - to secure them.

After securing the timber, the operator switches on the winch – with its help the timber is pulled to the machine, dragged and loaded onto the shield. Having secured the position of the load, the operator can begin transportation.
