2” Slickline Setting Tool

The Slickline Setting Tool has unique design allows to set Gauge Hangers using the pulling force of slickline or wireline. 

The Slickline Setting Tool does need neither well nor nitrogen pressure to create a powerful setting stroke. The Setting Tool initial activates the Gauge Hanger by the pre-loaded powerful compression spring when the Electronic Timer releases the spring and after that a high setting force is created by pulling the slickline. 

The force relation between the pulling force on slickline and delivered setting force is 1:18. The Stroke Force is limited by tensile strength of the slickline. 

The Slickline Setting Tool is fully balanced to well pressure and no calculations for shear pins prior to running are required. 

In case when the emergency disconnect of the Setting Tool from the Gauge Hanger is required, the Setting Tool can be released by jarring upwards.
