FHF technology with proppant slug feed

The methodology of this fracturing type is that the proppant is pumped in separate portions with linear gel midpoint buffering stages between them. The hydraulic fracturing fluid is a linear gel, proppant is fed in a cross-linked gel at the last stages. In the process of this injection, the proppant is deposited on the conditional bottom or at the FHF bottom. The formed “downs” of the settled proppant are in fact a barrier for the deviation from the bottom fracture of the injected mixture of the proppant main stage with the high viscosity FHF liquid. Also due to the forced deflection effect, the half-length of the created crack increases and its vertical development is limited.
