Description:
JSC Pacific Engineering Company has more than 20 years of experience in performing geophysical surveys at sea in various geological and hydrographic conditions with a water depth of 2 to 400 meters.
Overview:
Research vessels are equipped with geophysical systems to perform a full range of geophysical surveys using the most advanced data collection, processing and interpretation tools.
Types of jobs:
- bathymetric surveys with single and multi-beam echo sounders as the basis for the design of pipeline routes and other offshore engineering structures;
- high-resolution seismic to study the upper part of the section (up to 1000 - 1500 meters), to identify possible geological hazards (gas "pockets", paleo-valleys, discontinuous faults, etc.) when setting the drilling platform to the drilling point;
- sonar survey for mapping various types of seabed and identifying objects at the bottom that represent possible complications for the designed structures;
- continuous seismic-acoustic profiling (NSAP) to a depth of 100 meters below the surface of the seabed for a more detailed study of the seismic section;
- magnetic surveys to detect shipwrecks and unexploded ordnance;
- inspection of objects using an underwater robot and divers;
- navigation and geodetic support (positioning);
