Alloy Drill Pipes of High Reliability (Lbtpn)
They differ from serial LBTs in the way the pipe is connected to the lock by means of a trapezoidal tapered thread TT with a stabilizing unloading belt and a thrust end. Guaranteed tightness on the thread, stabilizing girdle and thrust end is carried out due to the temperature assembly. The fatigue strength of the joint exceeds 60-80% of that of the serial flawless joint with a triangular thread.
LBTPN are made according to the ISO 15546 standard.
Aluminum drill pipes are made of two types of aluminum alloys:
the most common alloy D16T;
high-strength corrosion-resistant alloy 1953T1.
