The presence of the A-scan eliminates such typical errors when measuring thickness using ultrasonic testing as doubling the readings, and the B-scan allows you to observe the profile of the bottom of the product. The thickness gauge implements various possibilities of thickness control - high-precision measurement of time on the transition through "zero", measurement of time between echo-echo signals, measurement of metal thickness under coatings, EMA control, etc.
The presence of built-in matching loops, an adjustable frequency and shape of the excitation pulse, and three degrees of electrical damping allows using any ultrasonic transducers with frequencies from 0.5 to 15 MHz, both combined and separately combined (separate) types, with the UDT-40 thickness gauge.
