The fire detector Tulip 2-14 Ex (IP 330-23-1) is designed to detect electromagnetic radiation of a flame in the infrared range with spectral sensitivity maxima at λ1 = 4.4 μm and to issue a fire notice. It is equipped with support channels at λ2 = 4.0 μm and λ3 = 5.0 μm.
Overview:
It is used in open areas and in rooms with especially severe interference conditions, for the detection of hydrocarbon ignition. The presence of two reference channels makes the detector resistant to all possible types of interference.
Designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Supplied in IP65 aluminum housing with cable entry for mounting armored cable. The design provides explosion protection of the type flameproof enclosure 1Ex d IIB T5 Gb X.
