Our newest production facility, the Ma’aden joint venture in Saudi Arabia (of which Alcoa owns 25.1%), is one of the world’s lowest cost fully integrated aluminum production sites. The Ma’aden joint venture includes a bauxite mine, an alumina refinery, an aluminum smelter, a casthouse and a rolling mill, integrated to deliver high-quality aluminum at a competitive cost.
