HydroSense 2410 is a flow analyzer for monitoring the hydrocarbon content in water. Non-contact measurement method. Minimal maintenance. Fluorescence technology is selective for hydrocarbon levels. Continuous monitoring without chemicals and time delays. Light filtering provides high analyzer selectivity. The HydroSense 2410 uses fluorescent technology to detect water pollution from hydrocarbons. A water sample enters the measuring cell by a pump or by process pressure. Passing through the cell, the sample is irradiated with ultraviolet light and returns back to the process. The source and receiver are equipped with filters to control the wavelength of the emitted ultraviolet and received fluorescent light. Oil products dissolved in water and converted into an emulsion under the influence of ultraviolet radiation fluoresce, emitting light energy with a characteristic wavelength. The light energy intensity at this wavelength characterizes the concentration of hydrocarbons in ppm. The method is based on calibrating the device with stable water with a known hydrocarbon content and correlates well with laboratory methods.
Overview:
