The Chelyabinsk Instrument Plant produces more than 1000 products for the qualitative measurement of all types of threads, the failure-free operation of coupling systems for railway cars and other units, as well as a measuring tool for all industries. In February 2017, our factory celebrated its 75th anniversary !

Chiz has earned a reputation as an international enterprise. Even in those days when import substitution was not a priority for domestic industry, the products of our plant boldly competed with foreign counterparts. To this day, the measuring and calibration tools released under the ChIZ brand make a serious competition to European manufacturers.

The history of the plant contains a considerable number of pages devoted to new developments, participation in large-scale projects, and the output of enterprise products far beyond the borders of Russia - for the needs of more than 40 countries!

Today we continue the best traditions of Russian toolmakers!

The plant has licenses for the manufacture and repair of measuring instruments, certificates of approval of type SI entered in the register of Gosstandart of the Russian Federation, certificates of accreditation for the right to verify and calibrate SI, certificate of qualification as an approved supplier of calibers for monitoring threaded joints of pipes and couplings for oil and gas assortment at enterprises TMK Group ”, diplomas of industrial exhibitions.

Activity

Our company is an active member of:

· Technical Committee for Standardization TK 357 "Steel and Cast Iron Pipes and Cylinders";

· Subcommittee PK7 “Threaded pipes of oil assortment”;

· Participates in the development and revision of GOSTs and standards on this topic. ( Quality Service )

Individual work with customers

Flexible individual work is carried out with consumers on the placement and execution of orders. We make products according to drawings of customers.

Nomenclature Development

Over the past three years, our company has expanded the range of manufactured special tools. Examples are species such as:

· The release of calibers for control of “Premium” class pipe joints has been mastered;

· Templates for controlling the profile parameters of beams and rail for URBS OJSC "ChMK";

· Patterns of a nadressorny beam and the cart for the Lokomotiv enterprise of RK;

· Templates for controlling automatic coupler parameters during manufacturing;

· A device for measuring scratches and microcracks during repair of the fuselage on airplanes (S7);

· A device for monitoring the sphericity and diameter of ball fingers;

· Wall meter for measuring the wall thickness of a seamless thick-walled pipe, with a measuring range of 0.00 mm. up to 25.00mm., accuracy 0.2mm. and the ability to measure at a distance of up to 250mm. from the end of the pipe;
