Outriggers (Supports) for Cranes - Manipulators

Rear outriggers (supports) Additional rear outriggers for the KMU are a necessary element of the KMU, especially if the boom of the crane manipulator has an outreach of more than 10 meters. The use of rear (additional) supports together with standard outriggers on a vehicle with a hydraulic manipulator increases the support contour of the KMU and reduces the load on the vehicle frame. The safety and lifting capacity of the crane manipulator depend on the rear outriggers. Thanks to the outriggers for the manipulators, the tilt angle of the truck changes. When lifting a load that is heavy, the side of the chassis facing the cargo material is slightly raised using outriggers. This is done to prevent tipping.
