Thick-walled Transitions

Thick-walled reducers are used under high pressure and at elevated temperatures and have different strength characteristics. Reducers perform the functions of narrowing or widening the pipe, as well as joining joints in pipes with different diameters. Reducers are manufactured according to GOST 17378-2001 or according to the Customer's drawings from low-alloy, alloyed and high-alloy steels, and are of two types: eccentric and concentric. There are several methods for manufacturing reducers. When using thick-walled reducers from steels other than pipe steels, the most common manufacturing method is casting TsESHL.
