The main design element of the compressor is the German screw block EVO28 (Rotorcomp), it is highly reliable and designed for long-term continuous operation. Compressor blocks undergo many hours of testing under load. The operating life of the block, subject to operating rules, is up to 40,000 hours. The ASO-VK series compressors are highly reliable and durable due to the absence of parts that perform reciprocating movements and the absence of compressed air pulsations, and include a single-stage screw block with two rotors. The design provides for easy replacement of individual units and parts. Torque transmission is provided by an elastic coupling installed between the electric motor and the screw block. Direct drive, in comparison with belt drive, provides a low noise level, reduces vibrations, is more reliable and does not require maintenance. Screw compressors with direct drive are recommended for installation in industries with increased compressed air consumption. The advantage of direct drive is the overall reduction in energy consumption by up to 10% and the provision of torque transmission without losses. Noise-absorbing materials are installed on the inner surfaces of the ASO-VK110/8 compressor casing, so the compressor noise level does not exceed the normal natural background in the production area.
