Cougar Drilling Solutions is a Canadian Company headquartered in Edmonton that offers a complete line of specialized drilling equipment including Mud Motors, Drilling Jars, Shock Tools, Mechanical Thrusters, Jar Boosters and Stabilizers. In addition to sales and rentals of vertical, directional and horizontal drilling tools, Cougar DS also provides drilling, well engineering and project management services to the oil, gas and geothermal industry. We provide engineered solutions, work with and educate our customers about the entire well delivery process to meet more of the industry’s demands.

At CougarDS, we have been designing and manufacturing downhole drilling tools since 1969. The Cougar DS, Edmonton Facility is an ISO 9001 registered company and has been since 1992. Our in-house manufacturing and quality control, along with our strict material specifications and handling assure us of complete control in order to achieve high quality performance drilling tools. CougarDS has service facilities in Canada, USA, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan.

Our front-line team in the field and workshop is supported by a solid management organization and a robust quality, engineering and management process. Our mission is to provide excellent operational performance in a safe, efficient and consistent manner across all our operations in all markets we operate in.
