Description:
PURPOSE Centrifugal, cantilever, monoblock electric pumps of the KM type are designed for pumping petroleum products with a viscosity of up to 10-4 m2/s (100 cSt), a temperature from 253K to 358K (from minus 20°C to plus 85°C), with a solids content of no more than 0.2% by weight and a size of no more than 0.2 mm. KM electric pumps are classified as general-purpose products, type I (repairable) according to GOST 27.003-90 and are manufactured in climatic version U3.1 (from minus 100C to plus 40 0C) according to GOST 15150-69. The electric pumps meet the requirements of TR CU 010/2011, TR CU012/2011 and are intended for installation in explosive and fire hazardous premises. Explosion-proof equipment - group II, explosion protection level Gb- "high", temperature class - T4 (135 °C) according to GOST 30852.0-2002 and GOST 30852.5-2002, explosion protection type "c" - protection by structural safety according to GOST 31441.1-2011, GOST 31441.5-2011, GOST 31438.1-2011. Electric pumps are approved for operation in explosive production facilities of category IIA, IIB and explosion hazard groups T1, T2, T3 according to GOST 30852.19-2002. Explosion hazard zone classes 1,2 GOST 30852.9 and class B-1a according to the Electrical Installation Code (seventh edition). DESIGN The KM-E centrifugal cantilever monoblock electric pump consists of a casing, a working wheel, a seal casing (diaphragm) and is mounted on the electric motor shaft. To seal leaks along the electric pump shaft, depending on the operating conditions and customer requirements, a mechanical seal (double or single with an auxiliary one) is used. The casing of the pump part is a steel casting in which the inlet and outlet pipes, a spiral chamber and support feet are made. The casing is a connecting link of the electric pump and is attached to the flange of the electric motor lantern with its flange. A threaded hole M12x1.5-7H is provided in the flange trough to drain leaks of the barrier fluid. Between the casing and the electric motor lantern there is a steel diaphragm in which a double mechanical seal is installed or a steel seal casing in which a single mechanical seal with an auxiliary cuff is installed. In the steel housing of the double mechanical seal there are two openings M12x1.5-7H for the supply and discharge of the barrier fluid, which also serves to cool or heat the seal. The tank for supplying the barrier fluid to the mechanical seal is supplied for an additional fee. The installation of the system for ensuring the operability of the double mechanical seal (hydraulic accumulator - tank) is performed by the consumer. The design of the tank allows for local or remote monitoring of the seal condition, ensuring protection of the electric pump in the event of seal failure by installing a barrier fluid level sensor, pressure and temperature sensors of the barrier fluid, and a safety valve. The presence of a built-in coil in the tanks allows, if necessary, to heat the barrier fluid when pumping a working medium with a temperature below the permissible values. Flushing of a single mechanical seal with an auxiliary cuff is carried out structurally, with the pumped liquid, through an internal hole in the seal housing. The seal housing has a hole that can be used to connect an electric contact pressure gauge (ECM). To increase the service life of the cuff, it is recommended to fill the cavity between the main seal and the auxiliary cuff with Litol-24 grease GOST 21150 (0.03 kg). When the ECM is connected and the seal operates stably (without exceeding the maximum permissible concentration), leaks pass along the shaft along the cuff and are discharged into the collector. In the event of failure of the main seal, the pressure in the cavity between the main seal and the cuff increases and the ECM gives a signal to turn off the electric pump. The centrifugal impeller is a bronze casting. The impeller is secured to the electric motor shaft with a key with a fairing. The impeller is unloaded from the action of axial force. The direction of shaft rotation is clockwise when viewed from the drive side and is indicated by an arrow cast on the housing and painted red. In the upper part of the housing there is an opening M12x1.5-7H, closed with a plug, for releasing air, in the lower part - for draining the pumped liquid. On the foot of the housing there are grounding elements for connecting the grounding device. The electric pump as a whole and its components: the motor and measuring instruments, intended for use in explosive industries, comply with the requirements of TR CU 012/2011, GOST 30852.0-2002, GOST 30852.0-2002, GOST 31441.1-2011, GOST 31441.5-2011, GOST 31438.1-2011.
