PURPOSE Twin-screw pumps of the 2VV, 2VG type and electric pump units based on them are intended for pumping liquids in a wide range of viscosities (1-1500 cSt)1), chemically inactive with respect to the materials used, of various hazard classes. Twin-screw pumps of the 2VV, 2VG type and electric pump units based on them, provided that they are equipped with the appropriate components, can be used in various zones (general industrial, fire hazardous, explosion and fire hazardous)2). Notes: 1) Upon agreement with the manufacturer, it is allowed to use pumps of the 2VV and 2VG type on liquids having a viscosity different from that given above. 2) Pumps of type 2BB (manufactured according to TU3632-094-05747979-2002) of series A1, A5 and pumps of type 2BB (manufactured according to TU 3632-064-05747979-99) are equipped with a single mechanical seal - are not allowed for pumping explosive liquids when used in explosion hazardous areas. Pumps of type 2BB (manufactured according to TU3632-094-05747979-2002) of series A2, A6 are equipped with a double mechanical seal, pumps of series A8 are equipped with a single mechanical seal with an additional one - are allowed for pumping explosive liquids. Pumps of type 2VG (manufactured according to TU 26-06-1596-90) can be equipped with a single, single with auxiliary or double mechanical seal. Depending on the type of seal used, pumps of type 2VG can pump fire and explosive liquids. Pumps included in the units are classified as general-purpose products (ION) type I (repairable) according to GOST 27.003-90, manufactured in climatic version U, placement category 2 according to GOST 15150-69. At the customer's request, it is possible to manufacture pumps in a different climatic version. When developing the pumps, the safety requirements according to OST26-06-2028-96, as well as the norms and rules of Rostekhnadzor according to PB08-624-03, PB09-540-03, PB09-563-03 were taken into account. The pumps can be used in explosion-hazardous zones B-1a, B-1b, B-1g, according to the Electrical Installation Code with environments of explosion hazard category IIA, IIB according to GOST R 51330.11-99, flammability group T1, T2, T3, T4 according to GOST R 51330.5-99. DESIGN The pump unit consists of a twin-screw pump and an electric motor mounted on a common foundation frame. The motor and pump are connected via a coupling sleeve. The pump is a positive-displacement, horizontal pump. Two synchronously rotating rotors with a special screw thread are placed in the bores of the pump collar. The replaceable collar is inserted into the welded pump casing. Rotation from the leading rotor to the driven one is transmitted via synchronizing gears. The rotors rest on bearings located outside the hydraulic part of the pump. The pump body in the heating version (2VG) has a chamber designed for heating (cooling) the body with a coolant. The working cavity of the pump is closed at the ends by bearing housings, and the shafts are sealed with mechanical seals or packing. The units can be equipped with a soft starter, frequency converter, control and management system at the customer's request.
