PURPOSE Single-screw pumps of the N1V type and electric pump units based on them are designed to pump out leaks of commercial oil from drainage tanks into the main pipeline. Electric pumps are classified as general-purpose products of type I (repairable) GOST 27.003-90, and are intended for operation in macroclimatic regions with moderate and cold climates at ambient temperatures from plus 40 °C to minus 60 ºC. Climatic version UHL placement category 1 (placement category 2 is allowed) according to GOST 15150-69. Electric pumps are intended for operation in explosion hazardous areas of class 2 according to GOST 30852.9-2002 and classes B-1 and B1g according to the Electrical Installation Code, in which formation of explosive mixtures of category IIA, IIB according to GOST 30852.11-2002, explosion hazard group of mixture T3 according to GOST 30852.5-2002 is possible. Pumps included in the electric pump are designed and manufactured in such a way and from such materials that they cannot independently become a source of ignition and explosion of explosive mixtures of category IIA, IIB according to GOST 30852.11, and have explosion protection level Gb for equipment of group II according to GOST 31441.1. The pump has the following types of explosion protection: "c" - structural safety GOST 31441.5-2011; "k" – liquid immersion protection GOST 31441.8-2011. DESIGN Electric pump units consist of a vertical single-screw pump, an electric drive (electric motor or gear motor) and a hatch for mounting on the tank manhole. According to the operating principle, single-screw pumps are positive-displacement pumps in which the liquid medium moves by periodically changing the volume of the chamber it occupies, alternately communicating with the inlet and outlet. A single-screw pump is divided into a flow part and a drive part. The flow part includes a collar, a screw, a high-pressure hose and a casing. The drive part consists of a bracket, a drive shaft, a tension shaft, an eccentric coupling and end and slot seals. Design features of the working pair "screw - collar": for electric pumps of the H1B 14/80 type - single-start screw (Z = 1) right, double-start collar; for electric pumps H1B 60/100-10/100 - multi-start screw (Z = 3) right, four-start collar. The collar consists of a sleeve and a profile rubber part vulcanized to it. The body is a welded structure made of a pipe and flanges for connection to the seal body and support, and there is also a nipple for connecting a high-pressure hose. The drive shaft rotates in two radial and one thrust bearings, the axial clearance in which is adjusted by a sleeve tightened with a cover. The bearings are mounted in a bracket. An end seal and a gap seal are mounted on the drive shaft. The drive shaft and the screw are connected to each other by an eccentric clutch providing planetary rotation of the screw. The direction of rotation of the screw should be right-handed (clockwise) when viewed from the electric drive side. The shaft seal is a single mechanical seal with an auxiliary seal. The sealing unit consists of a gap seal between the parts designed to reduce the pressure in the mechanical seal chamber, a ball valve that ensures filling of the chamber and maintaining the required pressure, and an auxiliary seal installed after the single mechanical seal and sealing the chamber for collecting leaks from the mechanical seal. The connection dimensions of the discharge flange DN 50 mm correspond to GOST 12815-80 version 5. The connection and overall dimensions of the electric pump hatch correspond to the connection and overall dimensions of the DN800 manhole (dimensions in brackets for the DN700 hatch) of the EP or EPP type tank. The connection dimensions of the hatch can be changed by agreement with the customer. The electric pumps are equipped with safety and check valves located in one housing and installed on the hatch.
