Overhead travelling crane (crane - beam) electric suspended GOST 7890 - 93

Cranes are lifting mechanisms designed to grip and move individual and bulk cargo.

The overhead electric single-girder crane (overhead crane) for general purposes GOST 7890-93 is designed for lifting and horizontal movement of various loads in production and warehouse premises.

The overhead crane runways (crane beams) are monorail beams: 18 M; 24 M; 36 M; 45 M, GOST 19425-74.

Overhead cranes are of single-span and double-span types, see the figure below.

Today, cranes can be equipped with:

- Remote radio control,

- Devices for smooth lifting and lowering of loads;

- Devices for smooth acceleration and braking of the crane and hoist.

- Load capacity limiters

- Brakes for the movement of the crane, hoist, etc.

The devices that ensure smooth lifting and lowering of the load, as well as the movement of the crane and hoist, are frequency converters, with the help of which it is also possible to adjust the acceleration time of the movement of the crane and hoist to maximum speed.

Depending on the span and load capacity, the overhead crane (crane beam) comes in different designs (see the figures below).
