Railway Hydraulic crane KZh-1572B

The hydraulic railway crane KZh-1572B is designed to perform restoration, construction and installation, repair and loading and unloading operations on 1520 mm gauge railway tracks. The main units of the crane are the chassis and rotary frames connected to each other by a slewing support with a rotation angle of 360°, mounted on two four-axle bogies equipped with a hydraulic travel mechanism. The crane's chassis is equipped with outriggers with a hydraulic drive, having three fixed support contours (8.83x8.5 m, 7x12.91 m and 4.4x14.47 m), automatic coupling devices and a pneumatic brake system with a lever transmission, designed for transporting the crane as part of a train or a separate locomotive. The crane can perform work both with and without outriggers. The following main units and assemblies are located on the rotating frame: a three-section telescopic boom with two lifting hydraulic cylinders, ensuring crane operation in the range of outreaches from 7.2 to 28.9 m; a power plant consisting of a diesel-hydraulic unit and a fuel system tank, ensuring crane operation for 16 hours without refueling; an emergency unit, providing for bringing the crane from the working position to the transport position in the event of a power plant failure; a comfortable driver's cabin with a workplace equipped with a microprocessor device with visual indication of the actual and maximum load, outreach, boom length, automatic shutdown of the crane mechanisms in case of exceeding the nominal lifting capacity and the ability to lower the load, as well as a device for recording characteristics. The crane is equipped with an extendable counterweight, which has significantly improved its technical characteristics. All crane equipment is covered with hoods protecting it from precipitation. To start the power plant in low temperatures, the crane is equipped with a pre-heater. The dimensions of the crane in the transport position comply with the requirements of 1-T GOST 9238-2013. The range of operating ambient temperatures: from -40 °C to +40 °C.
