This function allows you to respond to an event much faster than when receiving an email about the alarm. Also, when two-way communication is activated, it is possible to transmit an audio message through a speaker connected to the camera. Built-in video analytics The SV series IP cameras include support for advanced, accurate and intelligent video analysis. It expands their capabilities with 9 detection modes, including comprehensive video surveillance functions and fast camera response to different observed scenes. Automatic focus adjustment (ABF function) Thanks to the ABF function, any lens with a CS mount type installed on the SV2018M turns into an autofocus lens. By controlling the motorized drive via software or via a web browser, you can remotely change the position of the matrix, thus adjusting the image focus as accurately as possible. This functionality allows you to both eliminate the human factor, that is, focus adjustment errors during installation, and use the technical advantages of a high-resolution camera to the maximum. Revolutionary H.265 codec: up to 50% increase in compression efficiency The H.265 compression format of the HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) standard allows for a 2-fold increase in the compression ratio of digital video data without loss of image quality. In areas where, for reasons of bitrate savings, the image was obviously overcompressed by the H.264 codec, and compression artifacts prevented operators and video analytics from effectively reading details, you can now get better visual quality. Thanks to the revolutionary H.265 codec, high-resolution video takes up less space in the archive, and the information content of video surveillance increases dramatically. Economical use of network resources and reduced requirements for video archive capacity make the new format attractive, significantly reducing the cost of owning a video surveillance system. Smart Stream Mode Smart Stream (analogous to H265+ and H264+) is the latest image analysis technology, fully compatible with the H.264 and H.265 standards. Thanks to a set of algorithms that analyze the video stream in real time, Smart Stream can significantly reduce bandwidth and storage requirements without sacrificing visual quality. In some cases, it can reduce storage usage by up to 80%. Double Scan Double Scan 2x wide dynamic range (Double Scan, 2xWDR) allows for video surveillance of scenes with very strong illumination differences. This technology is based on the principle of obtaining 2 frames with different shutter speeds of the electronic shutter, followed by summing these frames.
