GTU-4P is developed on the basis of the gas generator of the most reliable engine in the history of the domestic aviation industry D-30, created for mainline passenger aircraft of the Tu-134 type. Gas turbine units with a nominal power of 4 MW are used as drives of alternating current electric generators in the block-container power plants "Ural-4000", GTES-4. Serially produced since 1997.
