Purpose and scope of application Single- or double-transformer substations (hereinafter referred to as KTP) of outdoor installation with a capacity of 25…1000 kVA are intended for receiving electric energy of three-phase alternating current with a frequency of 50 Hz and a nominal voltage of 10(6) kV, transforming and distributing it into a voltage of 0.4 kV. KTP can be used in power supply networks of industrial enterprises, rural and urban settlements, as well as other objects.

Climatic version and placement category – according to GOST 14695-80, GOST 15150-69, GOST15543.1-89 – U1.
Normal operation of the transformer substation is ensured under the following conditions:
— ambient air temperature – from - 45°С to +40°С;
— altitude above sea level – no more than 1000 m;
— wind speed – up to 36 m/s (in the absence of ice);
— atmosphere type – II according to GOST 15150-69;
— the environment is non-explosive, does not contain conductive dust, aggressive dust and vapors in concentrations that destroy metals, insulation and anti-corrosion coating of the transformer substation.
KTP are not intended:
— for work in conditions of shaking, vibration, impacts;
— for power input from the low voltage side.
