The DS series of cabinets for data centers are modern high-quality mounting structures intended for placement of equipment for data processing, storage and transmission systems, electrical and other equipment, power distribution systems, uninterruptible power supply and meet the requirements of the GOST 28601 family, GOST IEC 62208-2013, GOST 14254-2015 (IEC 60529:2013), GOST IEC 61439-1-2013, GOST IEC 61439-2-2015, IEA / ECA-310, DIN 41494, ETSI. The cabinets are equipped and assembled for quick commissioning both for single installations and for installation in cold or hot aisle systems in data centers. The third generation DS cabinet series has been produced since 2024 and has successfully passed the required set of tests to confirm performance characteristics and compliance with standard requirements. Important distinguishing design features and operational features • The physical height of the cabinet on rollers is less than 2270 mm, which allows the cabinets to be integrated into rows with other popular 48U designs. • An 800 mm wide cabinet is ideal for both the role of a server cabinet and the role of a cross and switching cabinet in the rows of a machine room. Special large windows in the vertical profiles, closed with brush entries and plugs, are convenient for throwing cable routes from front to back, and the ability to install wide cable organizers without limiting the service of 19” equipment makes explantation safer and more pleasant. • Possibility of installing equipment deeper than 1000 mm for cabinets 1200 mm deep while fully maintaining the operability of vertical PDUs in the “sockets on the door” position using corner brackets (accessory). • Maximum distributed static load - up to 1500 kg. The maximum load on 1 unit when attaching equipment to 4 points (2 on the front pair of 19-inch profiles and 2 on the rear pair) is not more than 150 kg. • Maximum dynamic load - 1000 kg on the rollers from the kit. The complete rollers are equipped with a retractable support, which serves to distribute the load at the place of cabinet installation to an additional 4 points and short-term fixation of the cabinet on the floor when moving. • Vertical 19” profiles have painted height marking in U, are adjustable in depth without stepping, installation depth is easily set due to depth marking in “CM” applied on horizontal profiles. • 4 full-size trays for installing ZERO-U equipment from the set can accommodate 2 standard blocks of vertical sockets up to 56 mm wide each. The trays are fastened similarly to 19” profiles on horizontal profiles of the cabinet. • The cabinets have a pre-assembled frame structure. Consists of two welded 1.5 mm frames connected by 1.5 mm horizontal profiles with 2 mm 19” profiles installed on them, a 1.2 mm quick-release roof, 1.2 mm side walls, a 1.2 mm front panoramic profiled door and a 1.5 mm rear double-leaf perforated door. • The doors open at an angle of more than 180 degrees when the cabinet is installed individually and at an angle of more than 120 degrees when installed in rows. The honeycomb-type door perforation with a perforation coefficient of up to 85% meets modern requirements for air cooling of the installed equipment. • The ceiling panel has 2 brush entries 98 mm wide and 1042 mm deep on the right and left along the entire depth, which are large enough to insert CEE 32A 5p electrical plugs and to run a large number of free cables and cables in bundles. At the same time, the roof panel is quickly removable on locking bolts that speed up the raising or dismantling of the roof for installing large-sized non-disconnectable equipment in the cabinet. Raising and dismantling the roof is allowed even with the brackets of the P and G type trays installed, without dismantling the trays and the cable system. • The cabinets are equipped with a set of vertical and horizontal barrier elements for use in cold and hot aisle systems and aisle insulation systems. • To install the equipment, it is necessary to use standard versions of 19” fastener kits for 9.5 mm square holes. The cabinet kit includes 60 units of fasteners for mounting 19” NTSS-M6x16 equipment. • The equipotential protective earthing system is integrated into the cabinet design, but the doors are connected with flexible conductors to blade spade terminals.
