Geological and Technical Research (GTI) and gas Logging
Currently, the Razrez Service Company, which is part of the GEO Group of Companies, has one of the most powerful in terms of its parameters and capabilities GTI "Sterkh" stations, manufactured by Sterkh LLC, Samara.
Monitoring compliance with technological parameters and drilling modes during the construction of wells
The technical capabilities of the STERH station while working on the rig provide the solution to the following problems:
- automatic reception of signals from technological sensors, gas logging equipment, downhole inclinometric system, input of reference information;
- automatic processing of received signals, interpretation of the received information;
- drilling control: bottom holes, open-cut tools with control of topping, cementing;
- determination of the lithological section during drilling, allocation of reservoir formations, determination of reservoir pressure during drilling and formation pressure prediction, allocation and prediction of pressure transfer zones;
- determination of gas logging parameters and prediction of reservoir productivity;
- construction of a refined geological section based on data obtained during drilling and research of cuttings and core (data input, calculations, printing of a stratigrapholithological section, cuttings, carbonatograms, results of luminescent-bituminological and other analyzes of cuttings and core, results of mechanical, filtration and gas logging) ;
- control and prediction of the well trajectory;
- performing calculations when solving geological and technological problems of well drilling;
- visualization of all information received from the well on the monitor screen;
- accumulation and storage of all information received from the well;
- formation and printing of reporting documentation for the well;
- copying information on the well for its subsequent processing at the centers for collecting, processing, interpreting information on wells.
Emergency Prevention
Currently, the software of the STERH station includes the ability to automatically recognize the following emergency and pre-emergency situations for rotary, turbine drilling and STR:
- drill string breakdown in the lower part;
- breakage of the drill string in the upper part;
- oil seal 1;
- oil seal 2;
- drill string landing;
- drill string tightening;
- collapse of the walls of the well;
- pressure drops;
- bit overload;
- moment overload;
- pressure overload;
- sublink of supports 1;
- sublink of supports 2;
- absorption;
- dangerous absorption;
- manifestation;
- dangerous manifestation;
- downhole motor stop;
- washing the columns;
- pump malfunction.
Casing string cementing control
In the basic version, the cementing parameters control station "SKTs-Tamponazh" provides registration and calculation of the following parameters:
The registered parameters:
- instant consumption of cement mixture in the feed line;
- the density of the cement mixture;
- flow pressure;
- temperature of the mixture.
Design parameters:
- the volume of pumped mixtures by injection cycles (buffer, gel cement, Portland cement, selling);
- total volume of pumped solution;
- the height of the grouting mixtures behind the column.
In addition, the station software includes the ability to compare actual and planned data for all recorded and calculated parameters.
Each of the working stations is provided with a specialized workplace for a process engineer and a set of portable radio stations, which allows for the most efficient management of the grouting team. Registration and documentation of the process of work in real time, provides an opportunity for the customer’s technological services in the future to perform a full analysis and assessment of the quality of work of the team.
The capabilities of the SKTs-Tamponazh station also allow you to automatically determine a number of emergency situations that can occur during well cementing:
- minimum permissible temperature of solutions;
- the most admissible temperature of solutions;
- permissible fluctuation in the density of the drilling fluid;
- gel thickening time;
- thickening time of cement;
- odds safety of work with cement mortars;
- allowable pressure in the casing;
- permissible downhole pressure;
- allowable volume of pumping cement;
- allowable sales pumping volume;
- the boundary of the beginning of the absorption of solutions by the well;
- the depth of the possible absorption of the solution.
