Description:
The development and operation of oil, gas or gas condensate fields is a very complex and time-consuming task that cannot be solved without a large amount of reliable information about both the field itself and the processes occurring during its operation. Informational geophysical support of development processes in combination with field data allows oil and gas companies to more fully assess the situation in the field, to solve the problems of increasing production both by increasing oil recovery and increasing the recovery factor of the reservoirs. An important part of solving these problems is overhaul of wells.
Overview:
When overhauling wells and monitoring the operation of oil and gas fields, GIS should provide:
- clarification of the actual design of the well;
- monitoring the technical condition of the casing string and cement ring, identifying leaks in the columns, cement, the presence of annular and intercolumn flows for the design of repair work;
- determination of intervals of water flow into the well;

- technological operations for the installation of dividing bridges, traffic jams, secondary opening and intensification of tributaries;
- monitoring and documenting the results of repair work for the well;
- study of the process of oil and gas displacement in the reservoir to control the development of reserves and evaluate the effectiveness of the application of enhanced oil recovery methods;
- hydrodynamic studies to determine reservoir performance;
- monitoring the technical condition of wells;
- well surveys to select the optimal operating mode of technological equipment.
