Borehole Exploration Seismic

For this purpose, a special unit (VSP lot) was organized, equipped with special equipment for performing downhole seismic exploration using VSP and NVP methods.

• Seismic vibrations in a well are recorded using a digital 3-component telemetric hardware multi-module complex AMKTS-3-48M (VNIIGIS, Russia);
• Currently, it is possible to service up to 30 wells per year. Using the above methods, a detailed study is made of the velocity characteristics of a section uncovered by a well, stratigraphic reference of the main reflecting boundaries, a study of the geological structure in the vicinity of the well by non-longitudinal profiles, linked to the data from the MOGT, a geological structure is forecast below the bottom of the well;
• The processing and interpretation of VSP-NVP data is carried out using the modern Univers + licensed software package (version 14.4, developed by the Central Generation Center, Russia).
