Geoscan-R - a device for wave Measurement of Resistivity of rocks in the Drilling Process (Resistivimeter) (LWD)

Main characteristics:

• The principle of operation is the measurement of phase shift during the passage of electromagnetic waves in the rock,
• The standard operating frequency is 2 MHz,
• The ability to use in all types of solutions with a density of at least 900 kg / m ³ , including salt and oil,
• Full compatibility with the GKS ™ family of telemetry systems with a hydraulic communication channel,
• The power source is a generator, the performance of the device does not depend on the battery life,
• The coding of measurements is carried out by the GKS inclinometry module; surface data is transmitted as part of a drilling frame,
• It is possible to record measurements in the device memory with a frequency of 8-200 s (depending on the speed of penetration),
• A software package is provided with the device, which includes a module for correcting indications for well conditions (drilling fluid, the ratio of the diameter of the device to the diameter of the well), geo-navigation and interpretation modules.
