Solarbox 1500e

The SOLARBOX 1500e is a tabletop xenon test chamber for accelerated light stability and weathering tests. The system uses an air-cooled xenon lamp as the light source, providing irradiance up to 1,100 W/m². The enhanced "e" model includes a microprocessor for programming and controlling test parameters. Irradiance is monitored and controlled via a closed-loop narrow-band sensor system, compensating for lamp and filter aging. Temperature is controlled and displayed using a Black Standard Thermometer (BST) with a range up to 100°C. The unit features a 4-line LCD display for test parameters and program menus. A bidirectional RS 232 interface allows data output to a PC or printer for test documentation. The device includes a timer for test sequences up to 999 hours. The exposure area is 280 x 200 mm, accommodating more than 120 specimen panels.
