JSC "Yuaiz"

JSC Yuzhnouralsk Armature and Insulator Plant is one of the main manufacturers of suspension insulators made of tempered glass, porcelain insulators and linear fittings for overhead power lines and switchgear of stations and substations. The plant manufactures more than 30 types of suspension high-voltage linear insulators made of tempered electrical insulating glass with withstandable mechanical loads from 40 kN to 530 kN in accordance with Russian and international standards. JSC UAIZ produces linear pin high-voltage and low-voltage insulators, support and support-pin insulators, housings for high-voltage fuses, special-purpose products, as well as high-alumina grinding bodies-cylinders of various standard sizes. The foundry shop of the plant produces castings of caps for the assembly of insulators by casting in metal molds (chill molds), castings for the assembly of linear fittings by casting on gasified (polystyrene) models from high-strength cast iron and castings for the assembly of linear fittings by casting in a chill mold from an aluminum alloy.
