UNIT MARK PRO (UMP)

The company UNIT MARK PRO (UMP) is an official distributor of leading European and American companies and specializes in the supply and sale of:

• production equipment for industrial labeling and consumables of the company BRADY ;
• production equipment for industrial marking for metal and plastic by SIC Marking ;
• cable products of General Cable, LEONI, Novkabel ;
• cable lugs and electrical equipment for KLAUKE, GREENLEE and WEICON-TOOLS ;
• chemical products company WEICON .

The UMP company began its activities after meeting in 1996 with representatives of the BRADY Corporation in the United States.
The US State Department for Supporting Business in Russia launched the Business For Russia program - thanks to which this meeting was held. At that time, BRADY products were not yet known in Russia, so our company offered cooperation in developing this segment in the Russian market.
So, in 1997, the first labeling printer “Labelizer” was purchased from the European representative office of the company “Brady Europe”, which was the starting point for our business.

In 1998 , UNIT MARK PRO was officially registered on the Russian market, and began its activity with sales of equipment and products for industrial safety. That is, all that will become in demand in Russia only at the end of the first decade of the 2000s. Then the market was still “raw”, and it was necessary not only to offer and promote products, but to educate customers, because buyers did not have an understanding of what benefits could be obtained by applying a new approach to work.

Thus, we can safely say that the company UNIT MARK PRO was at the forefront of the development of professional marking in Russia, offering and promoting new technologies and materials that have already proven themselves in the West.

We are pleased that the interest of customers over time has significantly increased in relation to the products we offer, and its advantages have been understood and appreciated. After all, our task is to provide enterprises operating in the Russian market with high-quality consumables and equipment that will contribute to the development of their production process and the business as a whole.

Since then, our business has expanded significantly, new directions have been added, the number of customers has increased, and the company itself has grown in size.

• In 1998 , the foundation of the company UNIT MARK PRO and obtaining the status of the prime distributor of the American company Brady , which is the world leader in the production of equipment for industrial marking.
• In 2002 , UMP received the status of the official distributor of the German company Gustav KLAUKE GmbH , a manufacturer of wiring tools and terminals, and its US division GREENLEE .
• In 2003 , UMP received the rights of the exclusive distributor of French-made devices for shock-mechanical and laser marking SIC Marking .
• Since 2004 , UMP began to supply the German market WEICON products: industrial chemistry and tools for installation work on the Russian market.
• Since 2006 , UMP begins to supply German devices for unwinding cables and wires under its own brand UNIROLLER .
• In 2007 , UMP received the status of distributor of the American company General Cable , one of the three leading cable manufacturers in the world.
• Since 2010 , UMP begins to provide services for the implementation of projects to ensure occupational safety and the implementation of the concept of "Lean Production" as part of the Lockout Tagout (BRADY) program .
• Since 2013 , UMP began supplying cable products of the German company LEONI , a leading European supplier of cables and cable systems for the automotive and railway industries.
• In 2018 , UMP celebrated its 20th anniversary .

UNIT MARK PRO PRO offices are located in 9 major cities of Russia : Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod, Tolyatti, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Vladivostok.

Deliveries of products are carried out both directly and through an developed dealer network, which has 230 representatives in Russia . The company employs more than 100 employees.
