Flexible sleeves produced by the Vladimir Metal Hose Plant have gained their fame due to their reliability. The VZM product line covers thousands of sizes. The products of the Vladimir Metal Hose Plant are used in a variety of sectors of the Russian economy. Launched in 2006, the company is equipped with modern equipment from Germany, Italy and South Korea. VZM holds exclusive welding and assembly patents. The use of special designs and technologies allows the production of high-pressure metal hoses of high reliability. A particularly critical area in the technology for the production of metal hoses is welding. The service life and the final ability of the flexible pipe to withstand pressure depend on the quality of welding. In most of these industries, the welding operation is manual, which is why all the global manufacturers of MRVD are faced with the problem of the "human factor", they are usually solved with special training and certification systems for welders.

VZM went through technical innovations: a lot of effort and money was spent on the development of the original design of a metal sleeve with two seams, which can significantly simplify a complex operation and provides an additional guarantee of the quality of the products. The reliability of the product increases due to a more even distribution of the load on the critical nodes in comparison with single-seam sleeves (where the braid under load destroys a single seam). In addition, the design of the VZM makes it possible to apply a two-stage quality control of all hoses.

Product quality control

In a modern testing laboratory of the plant, the quality of 100% of the produced pipelines is monitored. At the first stage, all materials and components pass an input test. The second stage is the operational control, including checking the tightness of the seam. In the third stage, the final output control of the finished product before packaging is applied.
