Soil Laboratory

The soil laboratory of our company is equipped with modern equipment and qualified, specially trained personnel, which allows us to quickly and with high quality conduct laboratory tests:

• soils (thawed and permafrost);
• soils;
• rock formations;
• water (surface and ground),
• including determination of the full range of physico-mechanical and corrosion properties.

Determination of indicators of properties, composition and condition of soils for their classification with the aim of identifying them, in the studied areas, types of rocks with the same physical and mechanical properties.

The laboratory determines experimentally: particle size distribution, physical characteristics (volumetric and specific gravities, natural humidity and humidity at the fluidity and rolling boundaries, swelling, wettability and filtration coefficient), mechanical characteristics (angle of internal friction, adhesion and deformation modulus, uniaxial tensile strength compression), corrosiveness to metals and concrete, total organic matter content in soils and peat, quantitative carbonate content, soil chemical composition, surface water and groundwater, etc.

The results of laboratory studies of quantitative indicators of ductility, fluidity, strength, deformability and other characteristics of the rocks allow them to be used in the design of various engineering (linear and site) structures, buildings, including facilities of the oil and gas complex, making a forecast of the possibility of changing these properties under the influence of building structures, as well as determining the hazard assessment of these changes for the stability of engineering structures.

Studying the corrosiveness and chemical composition of soils and groundwater allows predicting the occurrence of chemical interactions within the natural - technogenic environment during the creation and operation of engineering structures.
