Geological Engineering Surveys
The company has partnerships with many Russian and foreign companies operating in the marine survey market, which, if necessary, allows attracting specialized specialists who have the necessary knowledge and experience to implement complex projects.
Drilling Engineering Geological Wells
For drilling engineering-geological and pilot wells, we use the mobile autonomous drilling rig ARB20-18, which allows testing of soils with a sample diameter of up to 107 mm to a depth of 700 meters.
Soil sampling
To carry out engineering-geological and geochemical studies of the upper thickness of bottom sediments to a depth of 20 meters, we use GeoMarine gravity-piston and vibration samplers, which have shown their effectiveness at depths of up to 2500 meters. For the selection of specialized samples at great depths, we use TNLA.
Static sounding
To obtain objective and operational information on the properties of soils in situ, we perform static sounding using deep-sea bottom installations.
It is also possible to conduct downhole CPT using the ARB20-18 mobile drilling rig. This makes it possible to study the properties of soils to a much greater depth.
Laboratory tests of soils
During the field work, we carry out tests of the physical properties of the selected soil in the ship's laboratory to obtain the most accurate data on the state of the soil stratum in its natural occurrence. Further laboratory tests are carried out in Moscow with the involvement of partner organizations.
2D / 3D high resolution and ultra high resolution seismic
We carry out both industry-standard profile observations in all frequency ranges, and three-dimensional high-resolution observations by original methods.
The use of 3D technologies allows to obtain a seismic image of the geological environment with a resolution of up to 0.5 meters.
Side scan sonar
Acoustic imaging of the seabed is carried out using dual-frequency systems towed behind a research vessel. When working in deep water areas, we use side-scan and sector-based sonars mounted on TNLA and AUV.
Hydraulic survey
To search and identify technogenic objects and explosive objects on the seabed and in the upper part of bottom sediments, we use towed magnetometers with over-Hauser sensors, and when conducting detailed surveys using TNLA, we use multichannel flux-gate magnetometers.
Bathymetric survey
The company has experience in working with a multi-beam echo sounder, both shallow with the use of a carrier vessel, and at depths of up to 2500 meters using TNPA and AUV. The use of modern high-precision equipment in combination with quality control at each stage of the work allows us to guarantee reliable data.
We are attentive to the quality of the data received, so all field work is accompanied by on-board quality control.
If necessary, we provide services for on-board processing and express data interpretation, promptly receiving preliminary results of surveys, as well as provide desk processing and interpretation services.
