The laboratory performs flaw detection of welds and joints, and also measures the thickness of the following objects:
- Steel and plastic pipelines for heating, sewage, water and gas supply;
- Water heating boilers;
- Tanks, tanks, containers;
- Construction metalwork.
Ultrasonic inspection and inspection of welded joints is carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 14782-86 “Non-destructive testing. Welded joints. Ultrasound methods. "
For flaw detection of welds, laboratory specialists use modern equipment to quickly obtain reliable results. Along with classic A1212 MASTER and A1214 EXPERT flaw detectors, advanced developments of our company are used, such as an ultrasonic flaw detector - A1550 IntroVisor and A1525 Solo tomographs. When conducting ultrasonic testing using these instruments, it is easy to detect defects in welds and joints, such as imperfections, cracks, slag inclusions, delaminations, pores, to evaluate their nature and determine the dimensions.
Ultrasonic testing of welded joints is available for butt, fillet, tee, and lap types of welds.
