TKM-459M performs hardness control:

• carbon and structural steels,
• surface hardened products (cementation, nitriding, hardening of high frequency alloys, etc.),
• heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, stainless and other steels,
• electroplated coatings (chrome), surfacing,
• products of complex configuration (gear teeth, shafts),
• thin-walled and small-sized products,
• products from fine-grained materials in a local study of the properties of materials.

TKM-459M passed the State Metrological Certification and entered into the State registers of measuring instruments of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
