The Array 2905 HD X-ray digitizer (digitizer) is a scanner for those who need the highest scan quality with high performance in accordance with DICOM / DICONDE.

This is possible thanks to:

- high resolution scanning: 50 - 500 microns;

- optical density: up to 4.7 D;

- adjustable color depth: 8, 10 or 12 bits;

- auto calibration.

The portable X-ray film scanner (digitizer) ARRAY 2905 HD scans X-ray images with the highest performance: scanning a 30x40 image at 200 μm takes 7 seconds. Each time you turn on the scanner, it is automatically calibrated. The feed system is designed to minimize the ingress of dust and moisture to ensure the required scan quality. An optional auto-feeder for 100 shots is optionally available.

The Array 2905 HD X-ray digitizer (digitizer) complies with DS class according to ISO14096, which means permission to archive images and no need to store the originals in the future (confirmed by BAM certificate)

The program for digitizing and archiving X-ray images of DISOFT as part of the Array 2905 HD software and hardware complex.

File format

The DICONDE format (ASTM Standard Practice E 2339-08) is used as the basic file format. This format is derived from the DICOM medical format and is taken as the standard for non-destructive testing.
The main amenities of this format:

• Ability to save additional information in the form of a variety of tags.
• The versatility of the format. All modern non-destructive testing programs save files in this format. The program reads all varieties of files of this format.
• Support for various compression algorithms. JPEG2000 compression algorithm allows you to compress a 16-bit image 10 times with almost no loss.

The program also supports import and export to all common graphic formats (JPEG, BMP, TIF, and so on).

Database

The program interacts with databases through the ODBC driver. This makes it possible to connect almost any database, such as MS Access, MS Excel, SQL-Server, Oracle, Paradox.
The program provides:

• Duplicate database fields in DICONDE file tags. That makes it possible to import individual files into the database or share files.
• Export and import, as separate files, and databases as a whole.
• Building a system with multiple jobs and one database.
• Formation of database tables with a different set of fields. Automatic generation of dialog boxes and reports.
• Search the database for key parameters.
