MS-4 mass Spectrometric helium leak Detector
It is used to detect and localize places of leakage leakage. Fields of application: nuclear, aviation and space, chemical industries, radio-electronic industry, research work. It is entered in the register of measuring instruments.
Operating modes
The leak detector is combined: it allows you to work in the "direct flow" and "counterflow" mode. Using the "counterflow" mode allows you to check for leaks of objects of significant volume with large gas evolution, in a wide pressure range. It can be equipped with forevacuum and high vacuum pumps of various capacities.
The sample gas used is 3 He, 4 He, H 2 . The leak detector can be tuned to other monoatomic gases in the mass range from 1 (N) to 40 (Ar).
Design
The leak detector is an autonomous module in a metal case that can be mounted on a transport trolley. The case contains a mass spectrometric analyzer, a monoblock of a vacuum system, control electronics, a high-vacuum pump, vacuum sensors and a “Gelit 1” helium leak. It is designed to configure the analyzer and calibrate the flow of the test substance recorded by the leak detector.
A forevacuum pump can be integrated into the leak detector housing. For high-performance pumps with pumping speeds of more than 20 m 3 / h, it is installed on the lower shelf of the transport trolley. The value of the measured flow is displayed on the color or monochrome LCD indicator of the leak detector control panel.
Features
- a hybrid high-vacuum pump provides leak detector operation, starting with a pressure at the inlet flange of 10,000 Pa; not susceptible to external dynamic influences, does not require lubrication;
- automatic locking of the system in case of emergency power off or violation of tightness at the input;
- cathode resource subject to operating rules of at least 1000 hours;
- automatic self-cleaning system for residual helium background, etc .;
- convenient and easy change of cathodes;
- selection of rejection sign;
- two-cathode mass spectrometer cell with switching to a spare cathode in case of failure of the main one;
- testing of nodes at startup and during operation automatically with an indication on the screen;
- analyzer design does not require adjustment of the ion-optical path;
- work without the use of a nitrogen trap (supplied as agreed);
- manual, semi-automatic and automatic operating modes;
- Auto calibration according to external and internal reference leak.
