The MIPEX-03 optical gas sensors have been specifically designed to replace traditional optical and thermocatalytic sensors and provide higher measurement accuracy, longer battery life, and significantly lower power consumption. MIPEX-03 gas sensors are available in versions with a 5-leg combined analog-to-digital interface for use in instruments, with traditional optical sensors based on microlamps and a 3-leg analog interface for quick and convenient replacement, previously used in thermocatalytic sensor instruments.

The MIPEX-03 sensors are based on the same unique patented optical gas detection technology based on LEDs as other MIPEX products, which provide extremely low power consumption (less than 3 mW) for longer life in portable and wireless gas analyzers.
