The presented standards apply to the production of welded steel sector elbows from carbon and low alloy steel grades for the pipeline of a thermal power plant, with a nominal pressure of up to 2.5 MPa (25 kgf / cm2). Indicators of the temperature of the working medium should not exceed + 425 ° C. According to these standards, sectional welded elbows are produced with a diameter of 108 - 1620 mm, bending radius - 1 DN, 1.5 DN, bending angle - from 15 °, 30 °, 45 °, 60 °, 90 °. The standards comply with the requirements of PB 10-573-03 “Rules for the design and safe operation of steam and hot water pipelines”.

Welded elbow can be made of the following grades and types of steels:

bends of carbon steel 3 and 20;
bends steel bent from low-alloyed grades 09G2S and 17G1S.
