Cracking pipe application
Cracked pipes are used in the chemical industry and in industrial plants. The name of this type of pipe production is associated with the process of high-temperature distillation of oil - cracking.
The scope of cracking pipes requires products to be resistant to high temperatures, pressure drops, exposure to active substances, aggressive environments, as well as high strength characteristics.
In accordance with the technical specifications of TU 14-3r-62-2002, corrosion-resistant steel grades - st 15x5m and its analogues are used for the production of cracking pipes. During the production process, this steel undergoes additional heat treatment. There are two manufacturing techniques:
- cold deformation;
- hot deformation.
