Floating head heat Exchangers

Heat exchangers are used in the processes of heating, cooling, condensation and evaporation. Depending on the technological process, heat exchange occurs between two streams, one of which is heated by the heat of the other, while simultaneously cooling the second one. Floating head heat exchangers have proven themselves widely in oil refining. Up to 80% of the entire fleet of heat exchange equipment at oil refineries is made in this design. Heat exchangers with a floating head tube bundle operate at high temperature ranges from −30 to 450 °C and pressures up to 8 MPa.
