Laboratory setups for Determining bond Indices
The Bond Index Rod Mill consists of a brake motor mounted on a frame along with a discharge funnel and grate. The mill also has a crossbeam and a clamping mechanism, which provide faster access to the contents of the mill.
The rods required for loading are supplied with the mill.
The rev counter allows precise control of the grinding process and automatically stops the mill as soon as the desired grinding time has been reached.
The drive control includes a non-contact controller that allows you to accurately control the speed of rotation of the drum. This regulator has overload protection and can be used to set different drum speeds.
The rod mill is factory set to 70 rpm. However, the rotation speed can be adjusted.
The rod mill drum is made of mild steel, smooth inside, no lifters, internal dimensions are 12 inches in diameter and 24 inches in length.
The lid has a quick opening mechanism with built-in seals.
