Application of movable supports Movable support structures are used when laying steel process pipelines. They hold pipes in positions specified by the project, eliminate sagging and deformation, compensate for loads that occur during operation, and allow pipelines to move within established limits. The industry standard prohibits the use of metal structures when transporting coolants and refrigerants, when constructing mains on frozen and heaving soils, and when constructing internal pipeline systems of power plants and heating networks.
