Chassis design

• Reinforced chassis made of two longitudinal I-section spars (the load-bearing strips are made of high-carbon low-alloy steel) connected by cross beams.
• The frame structure is made of high-strength steel, operating in temperatures ranging from -70 °C to + 80 °C;
• JOST/BPW support device with 24 t lifting capacity, with control on the right;
• JOST 2-inch kingpin in accordance with UNECE Regulation No. 55.00, located according to ISO 1726;
• 2 wheel chocks (shoes);
• Basket type spare wheel holder – 2 pcs.;
• Lateral aluminium underrun protection, manufactured according to UNECE Regulation No. 73.00, with STEELBEAR advertising.

Axle unit

• 3-axle axle unit BPW disc/drum brake mechanism, special reinforced off-road version, for roads in Russia and the CIS with a lateral slope. Round axle beam with a wall thickness of 11 mm. Permissible load on each axle 9000 kg;
• Reinforced BPW air suspension (350 mm diameter cushions) with the ability to raise/lower the platform;
• Reinforced shock absorbers;
• Plastic half-wings in front of the first and behind the rear axles;
• A pair of ANTISPRAY mudguards with STEELBEAR logo behind the rear axle;

Wheels and tires

• Wheel assembly 7 pcs. (incl. 1 spare);
• Tires size 385/65R22.5;

Brake system

• Pneumatic brake system KNORR EBS/ABS;
• Pressure gauges displaying the pressure in the air suspension to obtain information about the load on the axle units (or the SMARTBOARD information system);

• ALUMINUM/METAL air receivers for air suspension and brakes;

Back gate

• Double-leaf aluminum doors;
• 4 hinges on each door leaf;

Front wall

• Front aluminum wall with reinforced steel posts and 2 mm galvanized sheet to a height of 800 mm;

Frame

• Steel sliding removable racks, not height adjustable – 6 pcs.;
• Rear steel removable racks, not height adjustable – 2 pcs.;
• All posts have pockets for 4 rows of wooden crossbars and pockets at the bottom for installing three rows of boards instead of sides;
• Wooden longitudinal planks on the top left and right – 4 rows;

Awning

• Side awning tensioning mechanisms integrated into the pillars on the left and right rear;
• The sides of the awning under the roof are sealed with a special rubber profile;

• Customs sealing cable included;
• The color of the awning is silver.

Marking

• Partial reflective markings in accordance with ECE R48, yellow on sides and back.

Painting

• Preparation of steel surfaces by shot blasting to degree Sa 2 ½;
• Painting the chassis with a two-component ACRYLIC system used for painting products in the AUTOMOBILE industry with preliminary application of a two-component anti-corrosion zinc-containing primer that protects the frame from “sublayer” corrosion;
• The colour of the chassis, front wall, pillars and external trim is black (RAL 9005);
• Side protection without painting (aluminum);
• Rear protective device in silver color;
• The wheel rims are silver-grey.

• Brackets for fastening the customs cable are installed on the front wall on the left and right;
• The upper part of the middle posts is provided with mounts for crossbars;
• Crossbars are installed between the middle posts;
