The 2VM4-8/401 compressor is an opposite-piston type and is designed to compress and supply compressed air. The applied automatic signaling and protection system ensures safe and reliable operation of the compressor. The 2VM4-8/401 compressor adapts to any climatic conditions. The complete compressor unit consists of a compressor, refrigerators (gas coolers), an air duct, a cooling system and automation. The compressor is a piston crosshead machine with opposite cylinders.
