The compressor is based on the NK-31 screw block manufactured by the German company Rotorcomp. High quality and reliability of the block design allow the compressor to operate continuously around the clock. Before leaving the factory, all Rotorcomp screw blocks undergo lengthy testing. Subject to compliance with the operating rules, the company declares 40,000 engine hours before scheduled major repairs. The CMC Airmaster P1 and S1 controller displays current information about the compressor status, provides access to settings, informs about upcoming maintenance, and stops in emergency situations. To reduce air humidity and protect the pneumatic line and equipment from corrosion, it is recommended to equip the pneumatic unit with an OV series air dryer, which removes moisture by lowering the air temperature to a dew point of +3 °C in accordance with class 4 of ISO 8573-1 and contains environmentally friendly refrigerant R134a.
