CloudHMI is a human-machine interface (HMI) architecture that is divided into two parts: a server and a visualization device. The Weintek cMT-SVR-100 server device is connected to the CLIMATE unit controller via a two-wire RS-485 interface and performs protocol conversion, data and event logging, recipes, database maintenance, macro command execution, etc. The cMT-SVR-100 server is connected to the Internet via a standard cable via the RJ-45 connector of one of the two 1000BASE-T Ethernet ports. Visualization functions are fully integrated into the visualization device using the powerful CloudHMI software. CloudHMI not only inherits the advantages of a traditional HMI, but also offers an advanced visualization system connected to cloud technology. A specialized Weintek cMT-iV5 client interface or an operator panel based on an iPad tablet, an Android tablet, or a tablet with Windows 7 or higher can be used as a visualization device. A smartphone with Android, iOS or Windows OS can also be used as an operator panel, provided that the resolution of such a smartphone corresponds to or is higher than 1024x748 (fixed project resolution for the cMT-SVR-100 server). If the resolution is lower than specified, incomplete display of project windows and/or distortion of window proportions, images and fonts is possible. Analysis of the smartphone market shows that a large number of models on the Android platform in a wide price range meet this requirement. Based on iOS, this requirement is met by iPhone 6 and higher, that is, 6 Plus, 6s, and 6s Plus (the iPhone 5s has a resolution lower than the required one - 1136x640). Based on Windows Mobile, the choice is also small, in fact, only two Microsoft models meet this requirement - Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, since models like Lumia 550 and Lumia 640 and others have a resolution of 1280x720 and lower. Thus, the control system includes the CLIMATE unit, the cMT-SVR-100 server connected to the unit controller and to the Internet, and a tablet or smartphone with iOS6 and higher or Android 4 and higher or Windows 7 and higher operating systems with the appropriate resolution (not lower than 1024x748) and installed free CloudHMI software (cMT Viewer and Easy Access). When you connect the tablet or smartphone for the first time, the project will be downloaded from the server. The server is rebooted every time the project is changed. Up to three tablets or smartphones with different operating systems can be connected to one server at the same time. From one tablet or smartphone, you can control the operation of up to three servers simultaneously.
Efficiency: All data handling and communication processes are performed by the cMT-SVR, while the tablet or smartphone is used only for display, control and management.
Reliability: The absence of an LCD monitor and touch panel allows the cMT-SVR to be installed in a wide range of industrial environments. Mobility: The tablet or smartphone can be used to check the process status at any time and anywhere.
Flexibility: One tablet or smartphone can be connected to three cMT-SVRs and one cMT-SVR to three tablets or smartphones at the same time.
Visualization: Excellent image quality of the tablet or smartphone display.
Storage: Large RAM and flash memory for storing data, recipes, etc. Software: CloudHMI is available free for iPad/iPhone in the App Store, cMT-SVR is programmed with EasyBuilderPro.
