Heavy fluid Killing
KATEZH is a dry salt composition, the aqueous solutions of which are used as heavy technological fluids for killing without solid phase for killing, perforating, preserving and repairing wells under conditions of high pressure flow. It is possible to use brine for weighting, including calcium chloride. Completely replaces the use of imported expensive calcium bromide.
KATEZH is effectively used in weighted biopolymer solutions as a substitute for barite. At the same time, due to the lack of a solid phase, optimal structural, mechanical and filtration properties of barite-free drilling fluids, the technical and economic performance of the bits is increased by 25-30%, the barite particles are irreversibly clogged by the productive reservoir and, as a result, the well production rate is increased by 15 - 25%.
Depending on the conditions of use, KATEZh can be produced in the following types (grades):
- KTZh-1600 + 1,6 for the preparation of process fluids
density from 1400 kg / m³ to 1600 kg / m³; - KTZh-1600 + 1.85 for the preparation of process fluids with a density of 1600 kg / m3 to 1850 kg / m3;
- KTZh-1600 + 2.1 for the preparation of process fluids with a density of 1800 kg / m3 to 2100 kg / m3;
- KTZh-1600 + X for weighting a solution of calcium chloride;
- KTZh-1600 + BS for the preparation of calcium-free killing fluid;
- KTZh-1600 + BR killing liquid is calcium-free;
- KTZh-1600 + P kill fluid.

- Prevention of irreversible colmatation of the productive reservoir due to a tenfold decrease in the solids content in the solution (not more than 0.01%), compared with other similar products (0.1-0.6%).
- High recovery rate of the permeability of the formation (96-97%) compared with peers (70-80%).
- The absence of sediment during interaction with formation water.
- Lack of formation of persistent oil-water emulsions in contact with well products.
- Low corrosion activity of process fluids based on KATEZH.
